About CACL
  • CACL stands for Council of Ashtabula County Libraries.
     
  • For years, the directors of all eight of the public libraries in Ashtabula County met monthly to informally discuss library concerns and issues.
     
  • The group formally organized in 1993. Today, six of the eight public libraries and nine high school libraries in Ashtabula County participate in CACL.
     
  • Patrons have access to over 500,000 items in the combined catalog.
     
  • Items can be requested from any location and picked up at any location.
     
  • Daily delivery to the libraries eliminates the need for patrons to drive among the libraries.
